How much turf do you need?
Welcome to Ivinghoe Turf, a leading supplier of freshly grown garden lawn turf to Berkshire. We serve both domestic and commercial clients, offering a wide range of specialist, hard-wearing garden grass.
The majority of the turf we sell is grown by us on our farm, meeting the high standards set by the Turfgrass Growers Association (TGA.)
We offer extremely competitive prices on fresh garden turf, topsoil, and aggregates such as sand, shingle and sub-base.
We try to offer the freshest rolls of garden turf we possibly can. This is why we grow turf on our farm and deliver it using our own fleet of specialist transport vehicles. This allows us to offer an extremely convenient field-to-garden service for customers in our local area, which includes Berkshire.
The amount of garden turf you need depends entirely on the size and shape of your garden.
Each roll of our garden turf is cut to cover an area of 1 square meter, although they are longer than they are wide - 60cm x 162cm.
For a square garden, you'll need to get the width and length measurements of your garden. If you have a circular garden measure the diameter of your lawn at the widest point.
Once you've got these measurements the handy garden turf size calculator here on our website can do the maths for you.Turf Calculator
