We grow and sell grass turf rolls in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire.
We grow your grass for you so you can save time and work and start enjoying your new garden lawn sooner.
Unlike grass seeds, buying rolls ensures you have instant turf - you can usually start using and enjoying your new lawn after just a few weeks. Freshly laid grass turf usually takes a few weeks to take root. During this time ensure your new lawn is well watered, especially if it is a hot and sunny time of year. You can check when this has happened by lifting a corner of the turf to see if the roots have attached to the soil below.
Most of the turf we sell is carefully cultivated in our fields in Bedfordshire.
When it comes time to harvest the lawn we use specialist farming machinery that cuts and rolls the garden turf and the soil beneath into turf rolls. Each roll covers an area around 1 x 1 meter, so it's easy to work out how much you'll need for your entire garden.
We're one of the longest-running grass turf suppliers in the industry - operating for over 35 years in our local area.
Our aim is to offer the freshest grass turf possible - that's why our entire sales system is set up to ensure we can cut your order fresh from our fields and deliver it to you with your turf rolls out of the ground for as little time as possible.
This means our lawn is faster to establish after it is laid and results in greener, healthier grass lawn for years to come. Laying turf is fairly straightforward - check out our turf laying guide for some tips. Because garden turf grass is fairly robust, with the exception of heatwaves or when it's frozen out, it can be laid nearly all year round.
Always plan to lay your turf as soon as possible after it arrives, ideally within 24 hours. The advantages of ordering freshly grown turf will be lost if it sits around rolled up for days in your garden.
